Barkat Exports was established in 1991 as a meat export trading company and is privately owned and proudly Indian.

Barkat Exports has been founded with the primary goal of export – import of meat, meat products, fruits and vegetables, as well as other food products. All of the products that we export meet with the prescribed quality standards for food products.

Our Director, Mr. Parvez Qureshi, has been with the firm since it’s inception. His involvement with the industry includes representation on apex trade bodies such as, the Meat Council and the Governing Committee of All India Meat & Livestock Exporters Association. The other principal, Mustakim Yusuf Shaikh, director comes from a rural background and has had a life long involvement with animal husbandry activities.

We have a professional and dedicated team of traders, accountants, shipping and documentation personnel who are entrusted with the routine management of company affairs.

As a trader, we have the ability to source meat from the length and breadth of India, from any processor who has the ability to produce the product you desire for the shipment you require. India is such a diverse country with varying seasons and livestock availability that our role as traders, allows us to source the product that will best suit your requirements. Our export department has excellent connections with the domestic food producers. We are your best choice if you are trying to locate and buy meat food products from India. Most of our export is done with fresh chilled and frozen Iamb, buffalo meat, fruits and vegetables.

We trade with the U.A.E, Saudi Arabia and Oman on a regular basis. For preservation and storage needs, and handling of the goods, we have a storage space plus a dual-function (chill-freeze) cold storage for accommodating 120 tons of goods. Our goal for the near future is the expansion of our cold storage facilities, and building a production facility for meat products. The annual turnover of our company is presently 30 Crores which is steadily growing at the rate of 20% per annum. No trade for us is too big or too small – whether it be chilled high quality meat or meat for burgers and sausages preparation and such other processed meat products comprised of buffalo meat or veal, mutton, lamb or goat, and associated offal.
